As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will welcome guests, manage access, and support security-related procedures with clear, professional communication. You will monitor activity through on-site systems, document incidents, and partner with site teams to help identify and address concerns quickly. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or vendors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and lobby activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry or loitering.
  • Answer phones, greet and direct guests, and assist with general information requests while maintaining a professional front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required documentation such as visitor logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate notable events during shift turnover.
