Requirements

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards within the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and location representatives.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized access attempts as directed by site policies.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious activity in a timely manner.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as needed on site.
