About The Position

As a Security Professional Unarmed Retail Patrol in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors by providing information and directions as needed within the retail environment.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel to help to deter loss and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or client representatives specific to the retail environment.
