As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence and supporting security-related procedures. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a visible presence, assisting guests, and communicating clearly with staff and patrons. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, guests, and employees in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures, including security-related protocols and emergency response activities.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals as needed.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras or access control systems from the front desk.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement as required for security-related matters.
Document and report security-related incidents and/or unusual activity according to site protocols.
