Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver standout customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors at a retail location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, fire alarms, lost children, and/or customer disputes.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, tenant corridors, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels when assigned, documenting observations and reporting suspicious activity per post orders.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and/or other required documentation, and communicate promptly with site management, local law enforcement, and/or emergency services as directed.
