As a Front Desk Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming employees and visitors while supporting access control and visitor processing. You will monitor activity from the front desk, document incidents and observations, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Staff the front desk to help manage access control by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing badges, and directing guests, contractors, and vendors to the proper areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems from the front desk, document unusual activity, and escalate concerns according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports and logs, including visitor entries, incident documentation, and shift turnover communication to support consistent security-related operations.
