SUMMARY: The Responder maintains the security and safety of people and property at the facility. Identifies and escalates issues in accordance with documented policies and procedures. Conducts patrols to ensure the protection of client assets and property. Provides strong customer service, access control, loss prevention, incident response, observation, and reporting for all safety and security incidents. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Respond to security incidents as dispatched within designated tier times. Conducts patrols of the interior and exterior of the facility. Prepares reports on incidents responded to during the shift using a Surface Book device. Serves as Incident Commander pending the arrival of a security supervisor or a member of a public service agency (police or fire). Serves as an escort for guests requiring individual escorts through the facility. Monitors cameras in the Security Operations Center (SOC). Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions for improving the security program. Maintains logs and records in accordance with the Standard Operations Procedure (SOP). Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility. Required to know and follow safe work practices and be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Notify the supervisor upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions. Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions for improving the security program.
