Job Description As a Security Officer - Resort Patrol Unarmed in Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel or management.
Assist guests, visitors, and staff with directions and information as needed, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on the property.
