You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related issues, assist residents and guests with service-focused communication, and report concerns with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements, where teamwork, reliability, and a caring culture help you make a daily impact.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, access control expectations, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates per site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter areas, observing for unusual activity and reporting hazards and/or policy issues.
Monitor and control vehicle and/or pedestrian entry points as assigned, verifying credentials and directing traffic flow to support orderly property operations.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate with property management and local responders as needed per post orders.
