As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and report concerns, assist employees and visitors with customer-focused support, and communicate clearly with your team. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting Allied Universal supervision and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying identification, checking credentials, maintaining visitor and truck logs, and directing traffic flow according to site requirements.
• Complete clear, accurate documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate key information during shift changes.
