Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist residents and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter disruptive or unwanted behavior within the residential location.
