As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and guests, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attentive service. You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor entry points, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and logging visitors as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, reporting any irregularities or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
Support emergency response activities as needed, communicating important information to building management and/or emergency services.
Assist residents and guests with general inquiries and provide information about the location's policies and procedures.
