As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols within a residential community. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the residential location by verifying identification of residents, guests, and vendors, following established procedures.
Provide customer service to residents and visitors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or information about the property.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual occurrences, and maintenance issues according to site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency protocols as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Enforce site-specific policies and procedures to support the security-related needs of the residential community.
Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and management to provide information and address concerns.
