About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Gated Community Patrol in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. You will provide outstanding customer service while assisting residents and visitors. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the residential location.
Provide customer service by assisting residents, guests, and visitors with access procedures and information as needed.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and address potential concerns.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
