Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Driving Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas in a vehicle while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Willing to obey all traffic laws

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Primarily driving post is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the residential location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or property damage encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
