About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control Desk in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying identification and credentials of residents, guests, and service personnel.
Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to their inquiries professionally.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when appropriate.
Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and provide reassurance to residents and guests.
