As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, managing access points, and conducting routine patrols throughout the community. You will interact with residents and guests, providing excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage access control procedures at the residential location, verifying credentials of residents, guests, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related site-specific policies and procedures, including monitoring entrances and exits.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Assist emergency personnel and first responders as needed during incidents at the location.
