As a Security Officer - Residential Access Specialist in CALABASAS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Monitor access points at the residential community to help control entry and exit, verifying credentials of individuals entering the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting any concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered while on duty.
Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management, providing information and assistance as needed.
Work in varying environments and conditions as required by the residential location.
