As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the community. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with residents and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting incidents according to site requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disturbances within the location.
Communicate clearly with residents, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and/or concerns observed during patrols.
Follow post orders and site-specific instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client site management.
