Job Description As a Security Officer - Resident Entry Desk in North Myrtle Beach, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service and clear communication to residents and guests. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
- Monitor access points to help control entry and exit, verifying the identity and authorization of individuals entering the premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with residents, guests, and property management staff to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
- Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding residents and guests during emergency situations.
- Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client to help provide consistent and reliable service.
