As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help maintain a strong security-related presence through routine patrols, access control support, and clear, professional communication with onsite teams and visitors. This is a driving post, offering variety across the site as you respond to routine activity and emerging needs. Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Control access at gates, entrances, and/or loading areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining required entry and exit documentation.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and process-area activity when assigned, then communicate concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards to operations.
