About The Position

As a Security Officer - Refinery Rover Driver in Pasadena, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while providing customer-focused service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license aligned with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documentation per post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying authorization as required, and directing visitors and contractors per site requirements.
Complete timely reports and logs, including incident reports, patrol documentation, and daily activity summaries, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
