About The Position

As a Security Officer - Reception Desk Driver in MIDLAND, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Welcome employees and visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor cameras and alarms, manage calls and visitor logs, and communicate concerns with integrity to help address security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing employees, contractors, and guests.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals.
  • Monitor and document front desk activity, including incoming deliveries, key and/or badge accountability as assigned, and security-related notifications, using required logs and reporting tools.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
  • Prepare accurate written reports on security-related events, visitor activity, and policy exceptions, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
