As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Primarily driving post is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including access control at commercial real estate locations.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the property.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and/or fire alarms.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptions and provide a sense of security-related assurance for tenants, guests, and visitors.
