As an Allied Universal unarmed patrol officer at a busy transportation location, you will conduct routine foot patrols across parking facilities and surrounding areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, assist visitors with directions and customer service needs, and support site operations through teamwork. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and local public services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking garages, lots, stairwells, elevators, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor vehicle and pedestrian activity for unusual or suspicious behavior, help to deter unauthorized access, and address parking and access concerns in accordance with post orders.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate updates promptly to Allied Universal leadership and the client.
