As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prominent government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment by providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related issues or incidents as required.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Document observations and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
