As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet guests, provide clear directions, and communicate concerns to site leadership while supporting access control processes. Requirements
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail and entertainment location, including common areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas, to help to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance with disorderly conduct, lost children or property, and/or tenant and guest concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access as required, and communicate suspicious activity to Allied Universal leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Complete shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and maintenance hazards to site contacts for follow-up.
