About The Position

The Security Officer-PRN is responsible for making scheduled rounds throughout the facility and parking areas. The officer will assist all employees, visitors, and patients in security-related matters, providing security for personnel and property on the hospital campus. All employees are expected to continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Some security education or experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a Taser course within 6 months and maintain certification.
• CPI Certification required (Hospital will provide training).

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled rounds throughout the facility and parking areas.
• Assist employees, visitors, and patients in security-related matters.
• Provide security for personnel and property on the hospital campus.
• Monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
