As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance while supporting a professional environment.
- Support staff and visitors during medical-related emergencies, de-escalation situations, and/or routine service calls while following established post orders and reporting procedures.
