As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols and assist visitors or staff with professionalism and clear communication. Requirements

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering the location as required by site-specific policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities for management review.
