As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated healthcare locations to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for all. Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
