Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control at key entry points, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify policy violations or unusual conditions.
  • Support access control at entrances and/or vehicle gates by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in processes, and directing deliveries to designated locations.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift turnover notes, and communicate key information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
