About The Position

As a Security Officer - Plant Access in CLARKSVILLE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols within the food and beverage facility.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
Document and report incidents and/or suspicious activities according to established protocols.
