About The Position

Provides a safe and secure environment for all caregivers, Medical Staff, patients, and visitors on the St. Mary Medical Center campus 24 hours a day. Age-Related Competencies: Neonate (birth-28 days), Infant (28 days-1 year), Child (1-12 years), Adolescent (13-18 years), Adult (18-64 years), Geriatric (65 years-death). Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of patient's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide for the primary population of patients served in the department. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

• California Security Guard Registration upon hire.
• 3 years of Hospital Security, Law Enforcement experience.
