About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrol in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a healthcare location. You will engage with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and care. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support and assistance as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines and client site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
Support Allied Universal and client personnel during emergencies or drills by following established response protocols.
