About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Response Team in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify entry permissions when required, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Support site operations by assisting with alarm response, directional assistance, and other assigned duties consistent with an unarmed patrol post.
