Job Description As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Site Rover in Olive Branch, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to reports, and communicate clearly with site contacts while delivering customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, storage areas, administrative spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring visitor and contractor traffic, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate security-related concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support site drills and muster procedures as assigned.
