About The Position

As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Patrol in Baytown, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an approachable presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the area, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
Collaborate with site staff and/or emergency responders during incidents or drills.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing patrols and other assigned duties.
