About The Position

As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Patrol in Baytown, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an approachable presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the area, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Collaborate with site staff and/or emergency responders during incidents or drills.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing patrols and other assigned duties.
