As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entrances and exits, help to deter security-related incidents, and assist authorized personnel with access. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter, observing for any irregularities or potential security-related concerns.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with location-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences.
Work closely with staff and visitors to support a secure environment at the chemical and petrochemical location.
Adhere to all security-related procedures and guidelines specific to the location and client requirements.
