As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your team, and provide customer service that reflects our caring culture. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Have a state, county, or city issued security license preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and approved emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points, looking for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and/or control access at entrances and controlled areas by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and badging per site requirements, and directing people to the appropriate destinations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching notifications per post orders, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports, monitor alarm panels and/or video systems when assigned, and communicate status updates to supervision and site representatives.
