About The Position
The Officer will be responsible for monitoring access control at Mount Sinai South Nassau, ensuring the safety and security of the hospital environment. This includes identifying visitors, vendors, and deliveries, as well as checking employee identification. The role requires a courteous and helpful demeanor when interacting with hospital personnel, patients, medical staff, and visitors. The Officer may also perform additional security-related assignments as directed by the Director of Security or their designee.
