Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This role calls for strong communication, professionalism, and customer service, along with a caring, agile, and reliable approach built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and industrial location requirements.
• Support reporting and recordkeeping activities, including writing detailed incident reports, logging patrol activity, and communicating relevant security-related information during shift turnover.
