As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and respond to concerns with professionalism and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and access procedures within a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the building perimeter; document observations and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls for service, and/or suspicious activity; notify appropriate personnel as directed by post orders.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify credentials when required, help direct visitors to approved destinations, and maintain visitor and incident logs.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, communicate with on-site management and Allied Universal supervision, and support emergency response activities such as evacuations or shelter-in-place procedures when appropriate.
