Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, restricted areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and visitor activity, verifying access permissions and following site protocols for deliveries, contractors, and/or authorized personnel.
  • Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and reporting maintenance concerns, spills, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
