As a Security Officer Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. This is a part-time role where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while helping people feel supported throughout the day.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, reporting observations and documenting activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed regarding security-related matters.
• Support a respectful and professional environment by assisting with directions, addressing routine concerns, and following post orders for unarmed patrol operations.
