As an unarmed patrol professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents, patrols, and observations during the shift.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points within the location as required by site procedures.
