As a Security Officer Patrol in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government services location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts.
  • Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of activity at the location, and assisting with de-escalation during interactions with clients and visitors when appropriate.
