About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Franklin, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and perimeter checks. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to questions with strong customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
  • Monitor access points and perform security-related screening such as verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining logs, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel, assisting with evacuations and/or shelter procedures, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs; communicate key information to supervisors and/or incoming officers and report maintenance issues such as damaged doors, gates, and/or lighting.
