About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Griffin, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine foot patrols, and document security-related activity to help reduce unwanted incidents. You will remain visible, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and support a professional customer service experience. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting observations, and assisting with access control concerns.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, gates, and delivery areas by verifying credentials, directing visitors and drivers to proper check-in points, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
Complete routine reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
