As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting observations to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, guest access areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and/or support a professional atmosphere for guests and team members.
Assist with handling disturbances, policy violations, and/or after-hours issues by following post orders, communicating with appropriate personnel, and supporting continuity of location operations.
