As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting observations to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, guest access areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and/or support a professional atmosphere for guests and team members.
  • Assist with handling disturbances, policy violations, and/or after-hours issues by following post orders, communicating with appropriate personnel, and supporting continuity of location operations.
